UE Local 666

In October 2021, Hudson Legal (aka HIPR) illegally fired Local 666 members Abigail Schultz and Joshua Sturman for union organizing. In November 2021,, Hudson similarly fired Local 666 organizer Madeline Cupack. By August 2023, Hudson had illegally terminated virtually all of the remaining bargaining unit. But we are still fighting. Throughout this time, Hudson waged a campaign of threats and harassment against Local 666 organizers, including filing multiple lawsuits targeting Abigail, Joshua, and Madeline as part of the company’s ongoing attempts to deprive workers of their legal right to organize. These lawsuits have cost those targeted tens of thousands in legal expenses, and the bills continue to mount.
