The North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE) is a professional association for public school employees and allies and is an affiliate of the National Educators Association (NEA). NCAE members are educators, former educators, and students, as well as allies including family members, neighbors, and friends. Members believe in opportunity for all students and in the power of public education to transform lives and create a more just and inclusive society.​ Members demonstrate leadership in their professions through understanding their vocation and their role in establishing a safe environment for every students. Members facilitate learning which not only contributes to students' academic success, but students' overall success.​ This is why NCAE champions North Carolina's Public schools as pillars of their communities and a safe haven for students, their families, our community members and education professions at all level of government. ​
